Our Statement Of Belief

We believe that the goodness of God leads people to repentance (Romans 2:4); that God, by His grace, has made salvation available to the whole world (1 John 2:2), (Titus 2:11); that this salvation is found in receiving His Son, Jesus Christ, as Savior and Lord (Romans 10:9, 13), (Acts 4:12), (Acts 16:31); that the grace of God which is His unmerited favor enables Believers to turn from a life of sin unto victory over sin (Romans 5:17), (Romans 6:14); that the grace of God indwells every Believer through the Holy Spirit, who is the Spirit of Grace (Hebrews 10:29), and that it is Grace working on the inside of us that teaches us to live right (Titus 2:12), (Philippians 2:13).

Furthermore, we believe that salvation is an entire package whereby is given unto us all things that pertain to life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3), (Ephesians 1:3), (2 Corinthians 1:20); that our precious Lord Jesus, through His finished work on the cross, has already provided everything we will ever need in this life and eternity, and that our role is to believe and receive by faith (Romans 4:16), (Ephesians 2:8); (John 6:28-29); that it is the will of God for us to prosper in every area of our life and be in health (3 John 2), (1 Peter 2:24); and that the Church, consisting of all true born again Believers independent of any denominational affiliation, has been called to the ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18), telling the world of the Good News that God, through Jesus Christ, has made salvation available to the whole world (2 Corinthians 5:20), (Mark 16:15), (Matthew 28:19).

We also firmly believe:

  • In one eternal God who reveals Himself to us as three distinct Persons: Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.
  • That the Bible is the inerrant and authoritative Word of God, authored by the Holy Spirit, inspired by God as His revelation to mankind. We consider the Bible our final authority on all matters of life and doctrine.
  • That Jesus Christ is the Son of God, or the Word of God made flesh. Jesus – fully Man and fully God – was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, lived a perfect sinless life in the earth; and through His life, His death on the cross, His burial and resurrection, has provided eternal Salvation for the entire world.
  • Sin, at its core, is spiritual separation from God, which leads all forms of corruption and ultimately death. Salvation unites us back to the Father as we receive Jesus as Savior and Lord.
  • We believe in water baptism as an outward symbolic representation of what happens to us the moment we receive Jesus as Savior and Lord. The old has gone and the new has come.
  • We believe that the Holy Spirit continues what He started on the day of Pentecost and that all of the gifts of the Spirit are still in operation today. We believe that the Holy Spirit is crucial in order for us to live the successful and victorious life Jesus has made available. We regard the Holy Spirit as the great Enabler in the life of a believer; He is our power source, and He makes successful Christian living possible.
  • We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is a distinct and separate experience to being born of the Spirit (receiving Jesus as Savior and Lord). When we are baptized with or filled with the Spirit, we are endowed with power from on high and we receive the ability to pray in other tongues.
  • We believe that every Christian has been given authority in the Name of Jesus over the forces of darkness such as sickness, poverty, fear, depression, etc.
  • We believe in Divine Healing; that Jesus, through His finished work on the cross, has already provided healing for every person. What is required on our part is that we receive this healing by faith.
  • We believe it is God’s will for us to prosper and be in health, even as our soul prospers. Godly prosperity is total life prosperity. This includes financial prosperity, but is in no means limited to it. Godly prosperity is to experience the peace and the wholeness of God in every area of our lives with nothing missing and nothing lacking.
  • We believe in the imminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ, and that at His return those who believed in Him will be resurrected to a heavenly dwelling in incorruptible bodies, and those who do not believe will experience everlasting destruction.
  • We believe the Church consists of all born again believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, regardless of denominational affiliation.
